McCrone Research Institute marks its 50th anniversary this year by hosting and conducting the Inter/Micro conference at its facilities located at 2820 S. Michigan Avenue in Chicago.
Inter/Micro attendees have special room rates and can make hotel reservations at the Club Quarters hotel, located at Adams and Clark streets in the central Loop. Transportation to and from McCrone Research Institute to the Club Quarters hotel will be arranged by Inter/Micro.
Inter/Micro is an internationally recognized conference that attracts microscopists from all areas of light and electron microscopy. Symposia topics during the first three days will cover techniques and instrumentation, environmental and industrial microscopy, and forensic and chemical microscopy. This year’s two-day workshop will be Animal Hair Identification taught by leading forensic microscopist Skip Palenik. Special events will include the Evening with Brian presentation, SMSI Awards Dinner, social hour with exhibitors, and our annual photomicrography competition. View the preliminary schedule.
